Festive Burns

We wll went to the National Portrait Gallery today to see the star in the constellation ceiling that the extended family had sponsored for my sister's 60th birthday. The Central Hall is gloriously, richly coloured and now has the added embellishment of Christmas decorations and tree. I thought Robert Burns looked rather uneasy among glitter in spite of his reputation as a party man.
