Castlerigg Stone Circle

Felt rough all day saturday after a night on whiskey.

So today after a spot of breakfast we drove off to keswick, stopping at castlerigg. We had to dodge hail and snow but as we got there the clouds seemed to part and we got the chance to stroll around it. Even on a pretty horrible day it was still beautiful views around us, cat bells to one side and blencathra peeping out of the clouds to the other.

While there we saw these three sheep, one admiring himself in a puddle and the other one looking at his mate saying "poser"

Then off to keswick for coffee and cake and a look around the rather smart toy shop that strangely has a gun shop upstairs? I settled for buying a new swiss army knife, I have no need for a gun at the moment....

Back in Penrith now and a trip to the open mike night at the players place near the aggy, to watch a banjo troupe called the Kentucky cow tippers. Chur is fancying learning the banjo and is hoping to pick up a few tips.
