Dreaming

Isn't it interesting how even when great care is taken to treat boys and girls in a similar way they make it very clear of their likes!

Harry is obsessed with helicopters (we have quite a few from a local army base flying over), cars, ambulances and FIRE ENGINES! Everything stops when any of these things appear whereas none of his little 'girlfriends' show any interest at all.

Today we were in the play area when a fire engine drew up....great excitement! ( The Mums were in a bit of a fluster too I noticed!) The firemen had come for ice creams!! Harry couldn't resist, so we went to see. He was invited to sit inside and his little face was a picture. The firemen were so good with all the children (all boys) who had gathered by this time and told us to be careful with Harry as they had all been fascinated by fire engines when they were little!! I can think of many worse ambitions than being a fireman!!
