Clowning Around
Brilliant day with the girls. Jane was off running in Peebles, so after a bit of tidying, we walked through the snow to go and see Hugo in 3D. Not sure how much of a young kids film it is; I think 10 year olds will love it - mine did. Scorsese cant do slapstick and the Sacha Baron-Cohen character is a bit jarring - not nasty like the child catcher but not a heart of gold either. Great introduction to the silent screen though, with the Harold Lloyd plot device, and Hit Girl proved she will be an actress to watch in the future.
Then lunch at the Black Medicine (twice in a week, will my wallet stand it), and home, to music practice and lots of giggles. This was Floss clowning about at dinner (with permission) to make a food sculpture from bangers and mash, broccoli and beans. Lovely family dinner to round it off and then the kids are about to go to bed.
Maybe tomorrow we'll get Floss room tidied.
