cluck cluck....cluck...

These are the friends my mum goes to for a chat when my dad is watching football on the tele. The one in the foreground savagely pecks and scratches the one behind her. I don't think it's bullying, just trying to create a sense of order and belonging. Humans are good at this too, though have apparently evolved to be smarter. You know chickens don't have any teeth but a bag full of stones in their throat that grinds up their food... hmmm
