Illegal behaviour

I used to take this to bed as a hot water bottle, somewhat after 1933 I hasten to add. Imagine the guilt complex I must have developed, as each night I expected to be prosecuted for cuddling up to a stone jar. My mother has lots in her garage, and I still think someone will come along and arrest her for detaining them for the last nigh-on eighty years. Is there a statue of limitation on stone jars?
