Day 58. 365grateful - my Dad
This is my 400th blip and this is my Dad. My Dad is the best Dad in the world. Here you can see that he is wearing a sparkly jacket and is on stage. Ten years ago he started a village christmas show that does two performances a year on the first weekend in December. The idea of the show was to build community spirit, it wasn't planned as a fund raiser but they have raised over 9000 pounds (and that doesn't include this years shows). Dad works tirelessly writing, marketing, directing and compering the show which is called Jingle Tingle and is now being performed in village halls across the country. It's a big hit and the Saturday performance sold out in early November. People love being a part of it.
So I am grateful for my Dad. And a lot of other people are too.
Gratitude helps you to grow and expand; gratitude brings joy and laughter into your life and into the lives of all those around you. Eileen Caddy

The 365 Grateful Project
In early 2008, in an effort to fight depression, Hailey Bartholomew started a year long photographic project which involved taking one Polaroid photo a day of something she felt grateful for.
I thought that this was such a fab idea I would do it as well. I have been blipping on and off recently but I lost my enthusiasm for it when I felt that every day was the same, always going to the same place. However, I think that documenting something I am grateful for each day gives it a different slant.
