Irene and Nans

Quickie Blip on my way home from work this evening. A lifetime ago (1980), this place was called Bosco's and a couple of friends and I hung out and drank here. In 1980, Belfast wasn't a very nice spot at all and you could literally be taking your life in your hands going into town in the evening. We survived, although I know of a couple who didn't. I haven't been inside Irene and Nans, or any of its other reincarnations over the years, but I remember fondly many of the parties I ended up at on nights that started here.
