The Old Man and the Sea in Pink
My husband and I decided to take a trip to Bandon today because a friend of ours said that the "Puffins" had flocked there. Well, it was the same as when I heard the "Pelicans" were there, I didn't see a one. It could be just me, and, of course, I don't have a telephoto lens to catch them anyway. I just wanted to get out and take some nice shots, I have been sick lately, and not able to get out much.
I got to the beach just as the sun was going down, and didn't think I would get anything, but then I saw this pink streak in the sky and it was reflected in the sand, so I took some shots. Then, I noticed one of my favorite rocks was in the shot. I call this rock "The Old Man." to me that's what it looks like. I think in this shot this rock looks like an old man silhouetted, looking out at the sea.
I was glad to capture something.
Have a great week.
