Far from the Madding Crowd

Parentals are visiting this weekend and we headed to York for the day, along with what felt like the rest of Yorkshire.

I don't like thronging hordes who are trying to occupy the same bit of shop/train/pavement as me so fully appreciated the bit of calm that we enjoyed when we popped into the swankiest hotel in the city for a cup of coffee.

I also accidentally bought a most gorgeous jumper from LK Bennett* :-)
