Three's Company!

Just returned from the visit to daughter in Mickleover. Woke this morning to some frost and very cold temperatures. Not feeling up to the longer walk we had planned so we set off for a short circuit via a farm, unfortunately the attached shop was closed. These three were part of a group of about 10 standing around the edge of their very nice pond which was iced over. I do hope they will be safe over the coming season, I'm pretty confident they are just the resident farm geese. Every day I feel I creep a little closer to veggie crumbles and nut roasts!
