A new visitor said hello

I had a short break at home, after my three hour meeting in preparation for tonight's council meeting, before a client came round for Apple help. Helena was just leaving for her new job, so I went to the garden to find the goldfinches hovering about the feeders. I got my camera and of course by the time I returned and set up on a chair in a different position, there wasn't much action.

But it was still delightful to be able to sit in the garden in the sunshine, despite the nip in the air. There were interesting clouds, high flying buzzards, another buzzard being mobbed by crows, a flying woodpecker scudding between treetops and the usual suspects at the feeders.

Until this bird came along rather shyly. I grabbed a few shots and this is one of it as it takes to the air to land on the feeder, its claws having just let go of the branch. After it grabbed some sunflower seeds from the feeder it flew down to a large shrub close by and sat very well camouflaged on a stem to eat the seed. Does anyone know what it is? I will try to identify it late tonight after my meeting.

Sybil has just gone having expressed an interest in my blip journal. I think she might join us in due course.

NB
Methinks it is a Dunnock, after checking what one looked like. However, the website suggested they usually gather under bird feeders to collect the dropped seeds, not on the feeder. Perhaps I am wrong.
