Mountain Rescue

My rear windscreen was snowed up this morning!

It reminded me that it will be a busy time for Mountain Rescue soon!

Anyone can slip and need assistance, but some people go on the fells ill equipped and don't know how to use a map and compass. ( or how to use the latest electronic gadgets! Not much mobile coverage on some of the fells either! )

Let's hope those who risk their lives on the fells for us remain safe this winter.
