Winter is here
Woke up at 5.45 this morning to get ready for work, peeked out the curtains then headed back to bed as there was snow on the ground. Decided it was safer to work from home than travel to Edinburgh that early in the morning.
Went out at lunchtime to pick up a spare set of Alloy wheels for Mrs P's 4x4 as I was going to get winter tyres on them, but i'm now in a bit of a dilema as two of the wheels I picked up have tyres on them with far more tread than the ones currently on her car (look almost brand new). Guess its change of plan time. Will clean them up later in the week and take a trip to the garage on Friday and see what the boys suggest.
Had to drive into deepest darkest Perthshire to a place where I hadn't been before near Methven. I'm sure someone told me "they eat their bairns there". It certainly felt like duelling banjo country ;)
Really glad we bought Mrs P's Freelander now as it handled perfectly in the snow, although I did drive pretty slowly to be on the safe side. Took this as we were heading back.
