What was it that Sir Bob said about today?

The brief smell of burning as I drove my daughter to school was a clue. The battery light illuminating was another clue. The car heater failing to respond to my commands was a huge clue. Something was wrong. Fortunately I was able to get to school and put the car straight in to a garage within walking distance from work. I hopefully suggested it might be a blown fuse as the radio and lights were still working. Of course it wasn't as that would have cost a pittance to correct. Now a few pounds lighter (if only dieting worked so quickly), I hope motor Monday will be followed by tedius Tuesday. There is a lot to be said for tedium.
