Kingston Bridge

Shot taken in a break from Christmas shopping. the gulls seemed to be having a breather too.

I like this shot of Kingston Bridge because you can see the way it has been twice widened from the brickwork underneath. Quite a few of the older London bridges are like this, the traffic volumes having increased so much that eventually it made sense to make the bridge wider.
