Sock buddy - step 1

Step 1 - what you'll need to make your own sock buddy.

1. Threads and buttons - I use upholstery thread to sew it up and embroidery thread and buttons for faces

2. Needle, scissors and fabric pen (useful but not essential)

3. Socks - I use children's socks as they don't require as much stuffing (and yes, I do buy them rather than using old ones but each to their own)

4. Toy stuffing
