Snow!

This is the view from my classroom door at 8:45am this morning. The snow that was forecast fell overnight and it was the first morning that I had to clear my windscreen and be cautious on the roads. There was heavy snow falling on the way to work but all hopes of getting a snow day off school were dashed when the sun came out and the snow stopped!

It now feels very wintery and Christmassy and I look forward to the equinox that marks the passage of time when the days start to get longer again. This time of hibernation does not bring out the best in me!
