Christmas spirit!!

An early start and 5 hour trip to Lille for the Christmas Market.

Lille is a beautiful city, but the market wasn't as good as we expected. It was absolutely packed during the afternoon, but much quieter in the evening when we went back for supper.

The queues were short enough for us to have a ride on the "the big wheel". Fantastic views, although a trifle chilly at night, but who was caring, not us!!
