Shiny Happy...

It's a funny old world. I am a cynical old fool. Platitudes, unlike platypuses, are dished out overly freely in many a sphere - mostly unwarranted in my opinion.

It's a pleasure then to be able to sincerely appreciate someone's work, and see them smile rather than frown. Equally nice to hear over the last week from those that are genuinely happy with their lot and your part in it.

Happiness is feeling shiny on the outside, and is the first step to contentment - which is more like feeling warm and fuzzy on the inside.
