O Tanned Bum.

Today we got our Christmas tree!

We drove to the place we went last year and pulled in and the lady came out and was like "Uh, we're not doing trees this year." Awkward. So we hopped back in our vehicle and drove down the road to this nice other farm where there was no one around. So we hopped out of our vehicle and then a man and a kid drove up on a tractor towing a small trailer that read "The North Pole Express." Legit.

So he told us in his accent (we think it may have been dutch) basically that he had trees, which obviously we could see for ourselves. So we headed out. We wandered about on the property for about half an hour before deciding on the very first tree we looked at. True Kelly fashion.

There were several excellent photos from today's adventure, so I'm sad I had to pick one. This is us attempting to carry the beast. Did I mention it's at least 10.5 feet tall?
