Mum and Dad (as they were)........................
These are photo's of my parents (taken at different times).
The photo of my dad was taken when he retired (age 63) too early for me to do the maths. He was born in 1929, and died nearly 2 years ago (Dec 12).
The photo of mum was taken by a friend of hers on her 75th birthday, just over 4 years ago. She is now 79. Ooh, the brain cells are joining up!
I have been away since Friday (hence no blips, yet) as she ended up in hospital with pneumonia (in one section of her lung) last Wednesday. She was discharged on Friday, so Nigel and I went up to Warwickshire to look after her. I have never stayed at her house for more than one night (all that was allowed) so it has been a very difficult weekend, with no care organised as she just refused everything. But I am ok, glad to be home and had the support of my hubby and brother (we are all very close).
I had some very hairy moments, where I thought i was the one losing it, but all the time i was aware of a strength inside me which surfaced. That might sound very weird, but we all act diffferently in these situations, and I don't want to share my beliefs on here, especially as i hope i am tolerant of the beliefs of others.
I think i am just a nutter (in the nicest possible way) like most normal people.
That's enough of today's 'analysis.' Hope you all have a good Tuesday.
