Making it count.
For those who don't regularly read my blips, here's a quick back-story.
Okay, so... Yes, I actually took a photo of my computer screen, and even left my name non-pixelized on the bookmarks in my browser and facebook just to prove it's legitimately me.
I was pretty chuffed when I saw in my facebook newsfeed that Matt has used my photos in an album on HIS facebook 'like' page. Not just one or two - 37... I uploaded a total of 41. So that's a pretty good effort, and I'm somewhere between proud, and humbled.
And not only do he and his managers like my photos enough to create an album using only them, my name was included in the album title.
AND, at the time I took the photo, 19 people 'liked' the album, many more 'liking' individual comments.
My dad always told me "find out what you're good at, and do good with it" when I was growing up - advice that stuck with me to this day, and even pass on to those around me.
In everything we do in life, we need to make it count.
I think I'm finally managing that.
