ICE to hamburg, bitte

So, the morning after the night before, we caught the ICE train from Munich to Hamburg. We figured that as we were in Germany we might as well pop up to see our friends... It's only 6 hours on the train!

The journey was grand - the trains are far more comfortable than the uk ones, and apart from a minor incident involving the wrong half of the train, first class and running at full speed (with all bags) along the platform, the day passed without incident! And we were met by our friends and taken to their brand new building site flat. No lights, no cooker, boxes and workmen everywhere... Chaos, but lovely to see them!
