Bet you can't take a worse photo than this
But to be fair I do have special powers.
You see, I can see into the future. If you look at the screen you can see that I've been forward in time to the 31st December and collected my degree.
Okay, I picked it up online this evening. I'm not sure why it says 31st Dec. Maybe that's when they send confirmation... ???
After 11 years of stopping and starting and eleven different courses (now called modules), I got the confirmation today to say that I could pick up a BA or BSc, so I now have a BA.
Hooray!
I celebrated with a sherry, and then another one. On my own. Whilst worrying how our eldest daughter would be getting home.
That's the beauty of the Open University. You can study whilst juggling the stresses and worries of family and work life and not have that awful extra burden of freedom or a social life. Still... at least I've sussed out the drinking bit. Even if it is sherry! Maybe I'll start a trend.
I had an opportunity to fill in some survey to do with the press and my experience but family life got in the way and I think I've lost the link.
Sigh
Anyway - hooray for the OU. It rocks. I couldn't have got a degree any other way. I had to do it my way and if there was no OU I would still be pretty much uneducated, unfulfilled and riddled with low self-esteem. I really mean that.
I promise my photos will get better again. I can't wait to get back out and about taking local shots
