Morning sun
I remembered my camera today!
I felt much more organised this morning, getting ready to take Bruce for our morning walk. The cold night had preserved the snow just as I'd left it yesterday. Walking up through the mixed woodland, was delightful. Every so often I'd catch a tantalising glimpse through the trees of the Turret hills draped in snow. In the Spring and Summer, those hills are referred to locally as the Blue Crags because they take on a bluish colour which is very bonny.
Bruce was in his element, rummaging under snowy tussocks, emerging with snow all over his face, not still for a moment - well, do spaniels ever keep still?!
We met two ladies walking their lively greyhounds and amazingly a runner lycra clad who seemed to have no problem keeping his footing in the snow.
I rather liked this image of the low sun catching the trees, and throwing up the indentations of walkers' feet on the path.
