Independence Day

"What does independence mean to you?" I was asked.

Well, a word hard to be described is also hard to be given meanings. At least it makes me note that I was born and raised in a free land in the North; that I was given free education and healthcare; that you yourself can paint your future with the colours you like the most - because you can and you are free to use the tools that are on hand for everyone here.

Correct if I'm very wrong, but those things and chances are an act of independence in practise.
