Button holes

In the evening, we went to a friend's new home to see her, her new apartment, and the presidential Independence Day reception on TV.

On the way back, the legs of my pants got all damp due to the wet snow on the ground so I had to hang up the pants to dry over night.

I know, I know; ladies should wear a dress for such a reception but I haven't got one that suits the December weather.
