Nottingham Morning

This was the view from our hotel room as we opened the curtains following our epic 10-hour sleep! If you're interested, you could compare it with two similar pictures taken the day before - they're in the blipfoto extras album, which is linked to in yesterday's blip.

We sat in bed eating croissants and pains-au-chocolate, procured at Tesco the day before, then got dressed, packed, and went to retrieve the car from the car park.

It was a fairly swift and easy journey home, and we got back, sorted out the cats and the rodents, then collapsed onto the sofas to catch up with the weekend's telly.

We both slept a bit too. Having relaxed while we were away we actually felt extra tired. I didn't manage to blip - just did a few essential jobs, including wrapping a few goodies for somebody's birthday!

The Wonderspouse also called his parents and discovered that they had located his OTHER aunt, who had also been in hospital. Poor FiL - his wife and both sisters all in hospital at once!
