Christmas has arrived in the Tyler/Appleby Flat
Yeeeeeey! Exam done and it went okayish....I managed to stay the full two hours and wrote a good bit so hopefully it passes.
But, it is now officially Christmas in our flat, we collected our tree from Neile and George (donated tree, thank god - we are skint! Thanks to shitty hours at work) we brought it home and went straight to work, it is very colourful and every year its tradition to buy a new decoration that isn't a bauble, I've done it for few years now. It is mine and Loggy bears first Christmas together and I really want it to be special so Santas little elf has been at work; the soldier in this Blip is the first one that I bought for my tree about 3 years ago, so he is special.
This year Logan bought a round reindeer decoration....
After putting up the tree we decided to wrap some prezzies; we wrapped quite alot and I LOVEmaking them pretty: ribbon, bows and nice tags....I would do it for a job if it paid well enough. I think a parcel is much more than whats in it, its the whole process of giving a gift and a smile should start by looking at it and thinking 'thats pretty' or someone put effort into that for me.
SO, to some people the tags and ribbons and bows are silly, to me they make a gift just a teeny bit more special. And surely thats what christmas is also about, making people feel loved and special.
