Let there be light

I love light: lamps, spots, strings of LEDs. If it weren't for my environmental consciousness, I'd have a light source plugged into every outlet of the house, and turn them on in different combinations for various effects. One of these days, I'll have a solar array to fuel my passion. Until then, I'll run with low voltage LED strings :-)

I am feeling very BLAH at the moment. Little Man is going through a tantrum phase combined with a case of gastritis and chronic/habitual cough due to vastly irritated air passageways because of coughing. I have gastritis, too, and a bit of cough left over after a cold. The semester is almost over; I still have a number of projects and final exams to grade. I have yet again failed to secure an assistant professor/tenure-track position within my department. I have taken the third part of my licensing exam, and believe I failed it, though I have passed the two I have taken a while back. It is wet and cold outside, has been for a while, and will probably continue for a while longer.
