Flamin' Galah!

I took the train down to London to visit a friend on Thursday. I knew she had got tickets for us to see Priscilla Queen of the Desert but it was a complete surprise to me that Ray Meagher was in the cast, playing Bob of course. As my friend is Canadian the significance of this was probably lost on her, not having been in this country during Home and Away's zenith.

"Galah" is derogatory Australian slang, synonymous with 'fool' or 'idiot'. Because of the bird's distinctive bright pink, it is also used for gaudy dress.

Very appropriate for Priscilla!
