I-Spy

I came across this old 'I-Spy' book when I was sorting some of my stuff out. There is no date on it, but someone has written in it that they 'spied' a velvet swimming crab at Anglesey on 7th August 1960.

The cover reminded me of Folkie Booknerd's recent blip... I spy a poorly, wheezing blipper who really should have been in bed...!

There could be great fun to be had thinking about what could be included in a modern 'I-Spy at the Seaside' book - e.g. pollution, unemployed fishing folk, disaffected youth (I spy a hoodie!), local people priced out of the housing market etc - but I guess that makes me sound cynical...
