Ely Cathedral

A very chilly day in Ely but made special by being with a close friend for lunch and a walk.

Ely Cathedral always fascinates me with its sheer beauty. I recall once watching a Fred Dibner programme about the building of the octagon tower. Some people spent their whole working lives on the building and died before its completion. When the sun shines it is stunning.

We finished our walk down by the river and then a look around the antiques centre to warm up!
