Sports Day II

Sports Day was last Friday, but we didn't finish all events, because of the rain. So, today we had the relay races and the 800m.

It was great to see the weans, big and small, so involved in cheering on their houses - and the winners just looked so chuffed.

Another day nearer to holidays!

I spent most of last night, and today, trying to find accommodation for Christine and I on Skye in the middle of August. We are (hopefully) going to do a digital photography course with Cailean MacLean. The college contacted me to say that the accommodation blocks are full for that week. There does not appear to be a room in the Sleat area available for that week - even in the overpriced hotels (£120 per person per night!). Even further north on the island, Broadford and beyond is fully booked. I am going to try Kyle of Lochalsh tomorrow, despite the long drive it will be.

If you are reading this, Christine, we may have to sleep in the back of the Berlngo!!
