Blanket Love

There is a collection of blankets that reside under a chair in our living room. They are always in use in our house, even by the hollow jnrs, who love snuggling up under them. I particularly like them at 6am in the morning. For awhile I am the only person awake in our house and it is absolute bliss.

No one asks me to do anything, get anything, answer anything or think about anything. I snuggle up under the blankets, with a hot vimto (very northern) and watch breakfast TV until it is time to wake everyone else up. That is except for this morning when I managed to fall asleep and switch off the alarm on my phone (in my sleep) and luckily woke up again just before 7am. Cue panic and much herding of hollow jnrs to eat breakfast quickly.

And now, I'm sat typing this, feeling very sleepy, thinking of the 2 hours work I still have to do tonight but also thinking 'I could just curl up under those blankets and go to sleep and no one would ever know'
