The tree is up !

I put the tree up on Monday while Harvey was at nursery and when he came home he thought it was wonderfull and was told off severall times for touching it but thought it would be ok to drive his train into it the little devil. He has been kind of poorly all week and so i took him to the docs today who put it down to a viral bug and just to wait till it passed (easier said than done when he wakes up crying during the night several times and spends the day whining)

Spent most of today at the hospital waiting for some very important test results. My appointment was an hour and a half late which dosn't help much when your nervous about the result and have had to wait 3 weeks already but thank god everything was ok. When doctors start talking about tumours and cancers it kind of makes you feel that way and for a few weeks i have imagined what it must be like to have some type of cancer when you have young children and a life to live in front of you. My friend sent me a great message today and pointed out that i am not so broken that i can't be fixed and it really boosted me. Friends are invaluable in life when your going through something like this. But thank god it's ok so i can relax, that is until 6 months time when they want to stick more needles in my neck eek !!!!

Oh and btw the pic is Amelia's bauble on the tree for her first christmas, Harvey has one the same in red :)
