my corner of the world

Sun up!

This is a different shot to yesterday's, honest! I really wanted to do a photo in the light and this is the only spot on the way to work that has any! I have to be quick so as not to be late for work. The dog walkers think I'm mad. I run out the car, take a few snaps then run back and zoom off!

Such a busy day again. I had a meeting with the Educational Psychologist from 8:30am. Then got lots ticked off my 'Things to do list'. Then into the class where we prepared for our tea party. It has been a lovely topic. The kids have done instruction writing and invitation writing in Literacy. They made sandwiches in Design and Technology. They made coasters, napkin rings and place mats in ICT. We did conversation skills in speaking and listening and today it all came together in a tea party that they invited their parents too and made the food.It really was lovely. The children presented what they had done this term, sang some songs (with solo parts) and hosted their party. The parents loved it too.

Then straight after into the hall to give a staff meeting to 40 staff about Attachment Disorder -reasons, symptoms and strategies. It was a good feeling afterwards as lots of staff came up to say how interesting it had been. Although at one point I noticed a senior management member of staff falling asleep -slightly off-putting! She is in her 60s so I guess I'll let her off!

Not sure I will be able to work tonight as I'm trashed ...again!
