My little Angel
Today was Caitlin's first ever Nativity play and she played the part of an Angel. (She even got to carry baby Jesus.) Managed not to blub all the way through as I was so proud. The three of us managed to get some much needed time together afterwards as we all went home for dinner, whilst my sister in law looked after Imogen. A loevly afternoon/evening, but ended all too soon. But only another couple of days and we get back to the routine of seeing Caitlin for a day during the weekend, and Alex for all of 10 mins whilst we handover.
Don't think Imogen was aware I had even gone as she slept all the way through.
She's on form today, and her Adeno virus levels have dropped which is great news. (Not the best virus to have after transplant.) Hopefully this will mean her Liver readings will start to decrease, but this is just guess work at the moment.
I brought her chair back with me so she can sit up for a while to help her breathing, so thats in the wash as we speak so we get to use it tomorrow. Unless she's outgrown it, As it's so warm in the room, shes only been wearing nappies, so when we do eventually get to go out, I think we'll have to bring a whole new set of clothes she's grown so much.
I'm going to go and give my little girl a big big hug now she's awake, and tell her all about her big sister, and how fantastic she was. (Shame about the videographer - me - luckily one of the other parents had video'd it all so we will hopefully get a copy. Thank god someone knew what he was doing.
Night.
