Night Run

Tonight was this month's Carnethy HRC night run. We started at Swanston village and headed into the Pentland Hills. It was just above freezing but lovely for running, with lots of ice and snow higher up.

The blip shows head-torches heading up the west side of Allermuir. With a clear sky and a full moon the head-torches were not needed, but it's a personal choice.

Stopping to take photographs, I was often well behind the others. Running alone through such a wonderful snow-covered landscape, lit only by the full moon, is hard to beat.
