Advent Calendar (Detail)

I bought this advent calendar* in the late-1990's from a bargain book store and it has made it through each December since. A new character is added to the stable illustration each day and there is an accompanying storybook to engage the kids. A couple of the little inserts are a little dog-eared now and put up a bit of a struggle when being slotted into place. It's excellent.
