The Mont-Royal
Trees on Mont-Royal
To be honest, today's picture should have been of the light you look at when you are under the cares of your dentist. I spent my afternoon there. I actually framed the shot a few times in my mind, and I knew exactly how I wanted to do it. But I didn't have the nerve to take out the camera. So I left, my mouth anesthetized. And feeling like a chicken. Ah well.
My dentist is on the Mont-Royal, which is the only real mountain on the island of Montreal. It has been inhabited for years by the rich of the city (French on one side, English on the other), a few hospitals, a university, 2 big cemeteries, and now a rather vibrant and multicultural community.
I actually had a pretty good cemetery picture (I am fascinated by the cemeteries), but my friend Cider12 had done a cemetery picture the day before, so, here are the trees.
