Tintin in Shadow

We saw the 3D preview to the new Steven Spielberg Tintin movie that is opening in a couple of weeks. The 3D looks amazing but I still have mixed feelings about the design of the film and the use of motion capture. The characters have been stylized to sort of resemble Herge's art work, but they have also tried to make them look very realistic and somehow the combination just doesn't look right. I wish they had done a traditional animated film using Herge's designs.
