Got my immigration medical exam completely done today. Finally. They really make you jump through some hoops to live in NZ.

Received my FBI background check in the mail a few days ago, so I've got almost all of the supporting documents ready.

I'm applying for residency so I don't have to keep getting new visas if I decide to stay here for a long time, but it takes 16 months to process the residence application so I have to apply for another visa/permit to cover the time in between. It's probably around 100 pages of paperwork. I'll be so glad when it's all done and I never have to do it again!
