Baking

While the storm is raging outside I have been inside baking. The RSPB Lochwinnoch are having a Fun Day on Saturday so I am baking for it. I have to admit that often I prefer the taste of the mixture before it is baked as well as the finished article. Must be years of 'scraping the bowl' when my mother baked.

In Renfrewshire and Glasgow all schools and nurseries closed and now all public building are closed too. All the bridges - Erskine, Forth and Kingston closed. Never before have I heard of the Kingston Bridge being closed!
