Painted Lady

I am please to announce that my daughter is now the proud mother of 5 painted lady butterflies.

Who would have thought that when 5 dead looking caterpillars arrived in the post, they would end up like this (and without us killing any of them)!

First they ate and ate until they became this big!

Then they turned into these things!

And now we have to let them go :....(
