Before the storm

It was a wild and wooly day today - it still is. High winds with rain thrown in just to make it more interesting.

Today I went in to hospital very early to get my last 'nasty' test, which meant I had to fast all day yesterday. Anyway afterwards I was glad to hear I had a clean bill of health so this is now officially day 1 of 'feeling positive and back to normal'. It was so good to have a hot cross bun when I got home as I was starving...

I took this from the window of my ward at about 8am this morning. The sky looked interesting and it was just starting to get light. Who would've known a storm was just round the corner.
