Sent home early!

Today we were sent home from work at lunchtime. The wind was the reason, gusting up to 80mph at low level (i.e. Edinburgh), and up to 165 mph in exposed areas. Schools are closed and the police have advised people not to travel anywhere in Central Scotland. All the major bridges are closed (Forth, Erskine and Tay), there is flooding and power cuts and roads are closed because of fallen trees. And now blizzards are forecast. So I am stayimg nice and snug in my flat with my cats and I'm going nowhere until tomorrow morning. And I've had time to back-blip for yesterday!
