Citrus

All of Scotland has been on a Red Alert today as we have had gale force winds up to 100 mph, particularly over the central belt, and in the north snow has caused great problems. Also there has been lots of flooding, roads closed all over the country, and ferries cancelled. Most of our large bridges, Erskine, Forth, Tay, have been closed to all vehicles all day. People were advised not to travel unless absolutely necessary, schools all over the central belt were closed, and businesses closed early to allow people to try to get home before the worst of the storm which was forecast to be between 2pm and 9pm. It is still raging as I write, and it is due to head up the east coast in the evening.
