On Tuesday, I spent an hour and a half in Bradgate park. It was after 8pm, pitch dark and only a degree above freezing. What made it worth writing about is that I was trying out a different photography technique. I took 128 exposures, each 30 seconds long. I then used StarStax software to pick the brightest pixel in each position, so creating the start trails you can see on the result above.
I think that I've had more comments and 'likes' for this than anything I ever took before. I'm pretty pleased with it and will probably have another go it the technique on the next clear night...
